Domestic Shipping
Handbags and Carpetbags are normally 4-5 pound packages when shipped. We offer USPS Priority Mail 2-3 Day shipping and UPS options. Exact shipping can be calculated during checkout. Buy two or more bags, shipping is FREE! Most items ship within 24 hours Monday through Friday, with the exception of holidays. Any orders placed on Saturday or Sunday will ship Monday morning (or next business day due to a holiday). This does not include any form of express shipping.
Note: Items totaling $300 or more will be shipped USPS Priority Insured mail with signature required.
Express Delivery (Domestic)

Please note that not all destinations offer next day/overnight shipping. Items totaling $300 or more will require a signature. International
We offer International shipping through USPS and DHL, which can be calculated during checkout. With DHL, most countries have delivery times as quick as 2-3 days, however, we have no control over how long customs hold packages and please remember you are responsible for any and all duties and taxes levied by your country, which in some countries can be as high as 27% VAT. Another thing to remember... Most countries calculate their taxes and duties on the full cost of the item, including your shipping cost. For the most accurate fees, please contact your Customs Authority.

International shipping is available through DHL Express (2-3 day delivery in most cases) and can be calculated during checkout. Please remember you are responsible for any and all duties and taxes levied by your country.
We want you to be extremely happy with your purchase(s), however, if you’re not 100% satisfied you may return your purchase postmarked within 14 days of delivery confirmation — in its original new condition. Please remember return shipping is the responsibility of the purchaser, unless there is an order error or item is defective. Be sure to include insurance to cover the cost of the piece, as we are not responsible for damage during transit. Please notify us by e-mail (susan@elementcottage.com) before returning the item and once mailed, don’t forget to e-mail us the tracking number. Refunds will be applied back to original form of payment. Please allow 10 to 14 business days for your refund to process and post to your account.
Exchanges
Exchanges may be made within 14 days of delivery confirmation, again in its original new condition. Return shipping is the responsibility of the purchaser.

Arizona is currently an Origin-Based Sales Tax State, meaning sales tax is based on the location of the seller, which in our case, is Mesa, Arizona. Therefore residents of the state of Arizona will be charged 8.3% sales tax.
