I love whales! I have been intrigued by these beautiful creatures all my life. They are not only some of the largest mammals on earth (the largest when it comes to the blue whale), but their grace and gentle demeanor are something we humans could learn from. I’ve been playing around with different concepts of a collection of whales and here’s a sneak peek of a humpback whale pendant. Following you’ll see some images of the wax pendant in progress as well as the final piece in sterling silver above. My son, Stefan actually carved this piece from my quick sketch. Very talented young man. I’ll have to post an introduction for him later, as he has been helping me with the production of my jewelry.
