DECK'D

Tonight I went to the DECK’D Art Show at 9 The Gallery to see an artist friend’s piece in the show. Her name is Skye Lucking and she is a talented artist and go-getter. Her art is colorful, whimsical, and 3-D. She also sells her art on other mediums and textiles, such as bow ties, books and much more. The piece she submitted was called a Triptych, which is a work of art divided into three sections or basically three skateboards brought together to form her entire art piece.

The gallery showcased 60 artists with skateboards priced $300 or less, all part of the 30^th Anniversary of Art Detour in downtown Phoenix. I only posted images I was able to see the artist's name, etc. for credit purposes, but there were so many. Here's a few images of some of these awesome boards…
